‏Historical Course Project

In this course, each student was assigned a historical period and chose a corset from that period to recreate. I was assigned the Edwardian era (1901-1907), and reconstructed a corset from a photograph dated 1903.
‏The corset was constructed using traditional methods, including boning and hand-stitching the lining. This allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the historical corsetry techniques and the challenges faced by corset makers of the time.
